- The project main goal is to integrate local area replication protocols into wide area networks environments. When the project is over, one should be able to deliver a prototype that enables large scale strong consistent replication featuring:
- Message semantics awareness in order to reduce end-to-end latency and bandwidth usage. Sematically reliable protocols play an important role at this stage;
- Dynamic reconfiguration of replicas using topology awareness broadcast protocols.
